Job Summary

Pay: $150000.00 per year

Note: This position requires employees to work in a hybrid model (some in-office in New York City some remote) at our clients NYC office.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have a J.D. and at least 3 years of employment law litigation experience.

Job Description

  • Represent employees in employment litigation including discrimination retaliation wage/hour and leave-related claims
  • Draft and respond to demand letters pleadings motions discovery requests and legal briefs
  • Appear before state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies (EEOC NYSDHR DOL)
  • Conduct and defend depositions argue motions and participate in mediations and settlement conferences
  • Manage individual caseloads from intake through resolution while collaborating closely with partners
  • Contribute to the firms strategic growth in the New York market

Qualifications

  • J.D. and admission to the New York Bar (admission in MA CT or NJ a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of employment law litigation experience preferably plaintiff-side
  • Proven ability to manage all phases of litigation from drafting to trial preparation
  • Excellent research writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to protecting employee rights and advancing workplace fairness
