Job Summary
About the Client
Our client is a well-established Sri Lankan company specializing in consumer electronics and home appliances. With over four decades of industry experience the company represents leading global brands and is known for delivering reliable high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Handle correspondence with banks and other financial institutions.
- Assist in import costing and stock validation processes.
- Utilize ERP systems and accounting software for financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience preferably in import and trading.
- At least 2 years of experience in an audit firm.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting packages.
- Strong understanding of import costing and inventory validation is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala; fluency in Tamil is a plus.
- Residing in close proximity to Colombo is preferred.
