Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a reputed automobile company. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of hands-on experience in financial management reporting and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions.
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage budgeting forecasting and cash flow planning activities.
- Supervise general ledger accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations statutory filings and audits.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Liaise with external auditors banks and other financial institutions.
- Support management in business planning cost analysis and performance evaluation.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting systems.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the finance team.
Key Requirements
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance preferably within the automobile or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting taxation and ERP/accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical organizational and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and strong integrity in financial management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
