HomePro a leader in home automation security and entertainment solutions is looking for a Field Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Field Service Supervisor leads and manages all aspects of field operations related to security and protection systems including electronic access control video surveillance intrusion detection and fire alarm systems. This role is accountable for guiding a team of 1520 service technicians providing hands-on training mentorship and performance oversight to ensure exceptional service quality operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The supervisor also addresses complex technical issues enforces compliance with industry standards and regulations and oversees workflows performance metrics budgeting asset management and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop field technicians assigning tasks aligned with individual strengths and project requirements.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations coaching sessions and disciplinary actions to maintain team accountability.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for customer concerns ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for both internal teams and key clients.
  • Provide hands-on support for complex installations troubleshooting diagnostics and repairs of low-voltage security systems.
  • Monitor & drive performance against key metrics including service utilization operational efficiency customer satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) and project delivery timelines.
  • Manage project execution including resource planning cost management and final documentation.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure the timely and professional resolution of service issues.
  • Enforce adherence to corporate policies safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee regional assets including fleet vehicles tools laptops and inventory with quarterly audit reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies safety standards and industry regulations.

  • Prepare and deliver operational reports and presentations to the Regional Manager where applicable.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging customer insights and operational analytics.


Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the security/protection systems industry or a related field with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • In depth understanding of field operations fleet and inventory oversight vendor management and customer service best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross functional teams including remote personnel.
  • Exceptional organizational analytical and communication capabilities.
  • Proficient in productivity tools such as Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Solid financial literacy with experience in managing departmental budgets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in security/protection instillation and/or support or related industry.
  • 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Project management certification or equivalent experience.
