The role what the Year 1 Teacher will do
As Year 1 Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging systematic phonics and early reading lessons.

Person specification
We seek a Year 1 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent) strong KS1 experience and a passion for early primary learning. The Year 1 Teacherwill demonstrate excellent behaviour management assessment for learning and the ability to create a calm joyful classroom.

Contract & practicalities
This is a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher post starting January 2026. The Full-Time Year 1 Teacher will take part in induction in the weeks leading up to January 2026 and the Independent School will provide mentoring throughout the spring term.
