Job Summary
Were looking for a passionate Senior Python Developer whos committed to delivering products that cut through the complexities of digital transformation and bring valuable business visions to life.
The Opportunity
- Architect and develop high-performance scalable Python solutions that drive innovation and delight our clients.
- Leverage your expertise in modern web frameworks databases and cloud-native DevOps practices to conceptualise and deliver tailored digital products aligned with hedgehog labs user-centric approach.
- Lead complex Python-based projects from concept to deployment ensuring reliability scalability and performance in cloud environments.
- You will continuously enhance your teams capabilities by implementing best practices in areas such as API design data modelling automation and DevOps; optimising workflows through infrastructure-as-code observability and robust AWS architecture.
The Tech & Experience Requirements:
- Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs following Django REST Framework best practices
- Implement real-time features using Server-Sent Events (SSE)
- Worked with PostgreSQL database
- Worked with asynchronous task processing using Celery and Redis
- Can manage and optimise cloud infrastructure across AWS (EC2 ECS Lambda Cognito S3 SES CloudFront Bedrock) and Azure
- Containerise applications using Docker and Docker Compose
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing deployment and AWS integrations (CodePipeline CodeBuild or GitHub Actions)
- Implement multi-layer authentication (AWS Cognito)
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Proficient in monitoring logging and alerting using CloudWatch and related AWS services
- Experience in writing tests using Pytest
- Solid understanding of networking security groups and IAM configuration within AWS
- Has experience in Stripe API implementation
