Job Summary

Job Title: HL7 Integration Architect
Location: Remote (EST Hours)
Type: 6 Months Contract

Overview:
Seeking an experienced HL7 Integration Architect to lead healthcare interoperability initiatives using HL7 v2.x Epic Bridges and Intersystems HealthConnect.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement HL7 integration solutions using HealthConnect and Epic Bridges.
Partner with technical and clinical teams to meet interoperability goals.
Maintain secure efficient and scalable data integration systems.
Document workflows data flows and interface inventories.
Lead integration audits and uphold best practices.
Mentor developers on HL7 standards and provide escalation support.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
10 years in technical analyst/developer roles.
3 years with Epic Bridges and HL7 Integration Engines (HealthConnect required).
Epic Bridges Certification mandatory; TOGAF-9 ITIL-F or COBIT-5 preferred.
Expertise in HL7 v2.x FHIR and healthcare interoperability frameworks.
Strong communication leadership and documentation skills.
Knowledge of IT security and architecture frameworks (COBIT ITIL TOGAF).
