Shift: 10-hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Job Type: Permanent

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Electrophysiology Tech to join our team in the Cath/EP this role you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases as well as cardiac arrhythmias. You will play a vital role in procedures involving PTCA stent placement intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement and EP device implantation and ablations.

Responsibilities:

Assist during electrophysiology and interventional cardiac procedures.
Operate and maintain specialized EP and Cath Lab equipment.
Monitor patient status and provide critical support to the clinical team during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation.
Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments and work area.
Support quality control and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular technology or related program.
A minimum of 2 years of EP lab experience is required.
- Candidates without acute care experience may be considered but it is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of EP devices and ablation techniques is required.
Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
Must hold at least one of the following credentials:
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
