Shift: 10-hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM

Job Type: Permanent

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team in Bastrop TX. This position provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. You will play a key role in helping patients restore function improve mobility and achieve optimal physical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients physical abilities through diagnostic testing and clinical observation.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on findings and physician referrals.
Implement therapeutic exercise programs and use manual therapy techniques.
Utilize equipment and modalities such as electrical stimulation ultrasound and traction.
Educate patients and their families about the treatment plan recovery process and home exercises.
Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians occupational therapists and nursing staff.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and professional standards of care.
Participate in discharge planning and recommend follow-up services when appropriate.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent).
Licensure: Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Experience: 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab outpatient SNF or acute care.
