Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Sonographer you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality compassionate care in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to evaluate findings
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Experience:
- Preferably 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging
- Will consider a qualified and motivated new graduate
Required Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
