Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a leading construction firm based in Lincoln Nebraska. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations developing financial strategies and driving the companys financial performance to support continued growth and success in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial strategy and financial planning for the company
- Oversee accounting operations including real estate development accounting and WIP accounting
- Manage intercompany billing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Supervise inventory management and related accounting with familiarity in Sage software preferred
- Support and advise on construction project financials
- Work closely with executive leadership to drive company growth and profitability
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of construction industry experience (specifically Finance)
- Experience with real estate development accounting
- Proficiency in intercompany billing and WIP accounting
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Familiarity with Sage and inventory management systems a plus
- Experience working for a nine-figure company
- CPA certification is not required
