Job Summary

Job Summary : The General Manager will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships expanding market presence achieving revenue targets and leading a high-performing team across India. The candidate must have previously worked at the General Manager level or above in well-established companies with a proven track record of driving large-scale business growth.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement Pan India business development strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets.
  2. Identify evaluate and pursue new business opportunities partnerships and client acquisitions.
  3. Build and maintain C-level relationships with key stakeholders government bodies and industry leaders.
  4. Lead mentor and motivate regional business development teams to deliver high performance.
  5. Oversee contract negotiations deal structuring and long-term partnerships with clients and collaborators.
  6. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends risks and opportunities.
  7. Prepare and present business plans revenue forecasts and growth strategies to top management.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Operations Finance Marketing etc.) to ensure smooth execution of business strategies.
  9. Drive brand positioning and presence in the market through industry networking conferences and strategic events.
  10. Ensure profitability sustainability and compliance in all business development activities
Skills & Qualifications
  1. Proven ability to formulate and execute Pan India business development strategies.
  2. Strong networking negotiation and deal-closing skills with exposure to CXO-level interactions.
  3. Expertise in client acquisition partnerships and contract management.
  4. Strong understanding of market dynamics competitor landscape and industry trends.
  5. Excellent financial acumen with ability to analyze P&L ROI and business growth metrics
Preferred Qualifications
  1. MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute with specialization in Sales Marketing or Strategy.
  2. Proven track record of achieving multimillion-dollar revenue targets and scaling business operations Pan India.
  3. Prior experience in Government/Infrastructure/Construction/Engineering/Manufacturing sectors.
  4. Hands-on experience in liaising with government departments PSUs and large corporate clients.
  5. Exposure to international business development or handling global clients.
  6. Experience in M&A strategic alliances or large-scale project partnerships.
  7. History of working in top-tier or Fortune 500/reputed organizations
Education: Masters degree in Business Administration/Management Marketing or related field.
Experience: 1) Minimum 10 20 years of progressive experience in Business Development Sales or Strategy.
Must have previously worked at General Manager level or above.
Strong exposure to top/reputed companies with proven success in large-scale business expansion.

  7. Willingness to travel extensively across India.
