Overview Under the direction of a Manager Director or senior leadership the
Project Manager IT II is responsible for planning directing and monitoring IT projects. This role involves determining user needs prioritizing work managing project activities and ensuring successful delivery. The Project Manager supports business planning efforts such as budgeting scheduling and workload planning while also maintaining project issue logs and reporting progress to IS management and local steering teams.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage IT projects end-to-end using PMO methodology and processes.
- Define and manage project scope resources schedules and budgets.
- Oversee multiple medium to large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Gather and analyze business requirements vendor statements of work and other documentation to define clear project deliverables.
- Coordinate and participate in analysis design and development activities.
- Ensure system changes are thoroughly tested documented and implemented successfully.
- Provide user training and ensure operational readiness for system implementations.
- Track and report project status accomplishments and critical issues to stakeholders.
- Maintain high-quality standards for deliverables implementation and customer experience.
- Meet the OneCHRISTUS Competencies expectations: Leader of Self Leader of Others or Leader of Leaders.
Qualifications - Proven experience managing multiple IT projects (medium to large scale).
- Strong understanding of project management methodology (PMO processes).
- Ability to plan budget schedule and monitor projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience collaborating with vendors business stakeholders and technical teams.
