We are seeking a seasoned Tech Lead with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows. Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. This role involves designing and implementing robust solutions that align with business goals ensuring high performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable architecture solutions using Python and Databricks technologies.
Oversee the integration of Databricks SQL and Workflows to optimize data processing and analytics.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a collaborative environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure the architecture aligns with industry best practices and company standards for performance and security.
Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and processes.
Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.
Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine architectural solutions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and best practices.
Contribute to the Talcotts mission by delivering solutions that improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
