Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Debt Capital Markets (DCM) vertical. The role involves full ownership of origination structuring execution and closure of DCM transactions including structured finance project finance acquisition finance and refinancing. The ideal candidate will bring deep lender relationships proven deal-making ability strong leadership and a track record of delivering large-ticket transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction Execution:
  • Drive execution of debt transactions including term loan syndication structured finance refinancing securitization and acquisition finance.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed proposals project reports CMA data and Information Memorandums (IMs).
  • Ensure timely execution and closure of transactions coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lender Relationships & Syndication:
  • Maintain and expand a strong network with Banks NBFCs Financial Institutions and Mutual Funds.
  • Liaise with lenders to secure approvals and ensure smooth disbursement processes.
  • Lead negotiations on terms pricing and documentation.
• Credit Appraisal & Financial Analysis:
  • Evaluate business models and perform detailed financial and credit analysis.
  • Review and guide the development of robust financial models.
  • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and bank credit norms.
• Origination & Business Development:
  • Identify and originate new debt syndication and structured finance mandates.
  • Build and nurture client relationships across industries.
  • Strategize and lead client pitches to win mandates.
• Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across origination and execution.
  • Provide guidance on project evaluation structuring and market strategy.
  • Foster a collaborative agile and target-driven team culture.

Required Skills:

• 15 years of relevant experience in debt syndication project finance or structured finance.
• Deep network across banks NBFCs and FIs.
• Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in credit appraisal and structuring.
• Excellent communication negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with a strong sense of ownership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead end-to-end deal execution.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 15 years of experience in Debt Syndication Investment Banking or Corporate Finance with strong lender and client network.
