Job Summary
Role purpose
- To provide technical and administrative support and assist with the day-to-day running of the Seedcare laboratory. Data Capturing & validation and other adhoc tasks as required.
- To support the on-farm seed treatment during peak times as assigned by the Line Manager
Accountabilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Seedcare laboratory chemical analysis
- Preparation of samples and equipment in the SCI laboratory
- Create scientific reports and share with line Manager
- Assist with a wide range of projects as and when required
- Conduct onfarm seed treatment for farmers
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Contribute to Zambia Business Sustainability targets
Qualifications :
Knowledge experience & capabilities
- BSc in Analytical Chemistry Biotechnology or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a range of cultures across the region flexibility to accompany seedcare team on planting trials and seed drop off/collection
