Responsibilities:

Prepare and present comprehensive monthly management accounts including in-depth variance analysis and performance reporting.
Actively contribute to and support budgeting forecasting and proactive cost control initiatives.
Oversee and report on both operational and capital expenditures ensuring alignment with financial plans.
Uphold and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Foster strong collaborative relationships with operations procurement and group finance teams.
Provide crucial support for audit preparations and statutory reporting processes.
Drive the continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a closely related field.
35 years of proven experience in management or cost accounting.
Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions and financial modelling.
Professional qualification such as CIMA ACCA or CA(SA).
Prior experience within the mining metals or manufacturing sectors.
