POSITION SUMMARY

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert Stock Assistant plays a dual role in supporting both the housekeeping operations and inventory management functions. Working closely with the Housekeeping Stock Controller this individual is responsible for receiving unpacking organizing and storing housekeeping supplies monitoring and replenishing stock levels reporting damages or shortages and distributing supplies to the housekeeping team. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness and order in storage areas assisting with the removal of items from guest floors participating in stock takes and inventory audits supporting deep cleaning and special housekeeping projects.


This position is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department by maintaining optimal stock levels organizing storage spaces and providing timely support to the housekeeping team and management. The Cleanliness Expert may also be required to assist with a variety of housekeeping duties including delivering guest requests stocking housekeeping carts and cleaning guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years experience in Housekeeping in a 4 or 5 Star Hotel
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery
  • Basic knowledge of inventory handling and stock rotation.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and order.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
