Mon - Fri Start between 4:00am - 6:00am. MANY flexible scheduling options discussed during interview. Possible mandatory OT up to 3 days per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Load and unload product on and off truck using tie-down ratchet straps shrink wrap and blankets. Product to include crated and uncrated items custom fabrication and other pieces of equipment as directed.
- Check product loads to ensure safe transit.
- Deliver product according to pre-determined route while adhering to driving etiquette rules of the road. Must meet DOT requirements.
- Carefully unload product at customer site and check order noting any corrections or damage.
- Complete all assigned reports and paperwork at the end of day.
- Communicate with Manager any system or documentation problems identified throughout the day.
- Collect payments as required.
- Comply with all safety delivery and driving documentation regulations to include pre-trip and post trip documents.
- Perform safety and housekeeping duties as they pertain to Edward Don & Company and OSHA standards.
- Effectively communicates to customers and all levels of staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- 6 months minimum 1 year preferred driving experience
- Route delivery vs OTR preferred
- High School diploma or GED
- Class C drivers license (minimum)
- Clear driving record
Skills
- Class C License
