Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and creative Training Course Developer to design develop and implement high-quality training programs tailored to the operational safety regulatory and technical needs of the natural gas industry. This role will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) instructional designers and operations teams to ensure training content is accurate engaging and aligned with industry standards and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop training courses for field technicians
Translate complex technical and regulatory information into accessible learning materials.
Create training modules instructor-led training guides job aids and assessments.
Collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Incorporate adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Ensure training materials comply with industry regulations (e.g. PHMSA OSHA API).
Evaluate training effectiveness and update content based on feedback and performance metrics.
Stay current with industry trends technologies and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience in training development preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
Familiarity with natural gas operations safety protocols and regulatory frameworks.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Experience in the power utilities sector is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
