Contract Term:
The Role:
This key role within Ballys Corporation is focused on the Companys financial close/consolidation process financial reporting and intercompany accounting. This role will support the Corporate Accounting and Consolidation team for all business segments (US and International).
- Develop and own the Companys multi-currency consolidation process
- Liaise with reporting entities to ensure a timely and accurate close
- Supervise staff to ensure timely and accurate posting of all eliminations and necessary consolidation adjustments
- Oversee and execute on global intercompany processing driving process improvements and adoption of policies
- Preparation review triage of consolidation schedules as required
- Develop and implement best practice processes and systems across the group
- Lead role in system improvement initiatives
- Supporting the wider teams delivery requirements including ad hoc project work required
- Research unique or complex transactions contemplated and/or entered into by the Company to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
- Serve as the main contact for the annual external audit and quarterly reviews through communication with external auditors and preparation of analysis and documentation.

- Proven track record of identifying and remediating problems and solving issues.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP/EPM required as well as ability to use reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Proven results in raising and maintaining high performance in teams.
- Strong written and verbal English language skills essential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related accredited field required
- 5 years experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or a public company environment.
- Experience operating at manager level ideally 2-3 years plus.
- Prior experience in financial reporting/consolidation role required
- Possess strong consolidation and reporting skills together with a strong accounting/control background.
- CPA certification a plus.
