Job Summary
Job Summary: The Breakfast Attendant assists with operation of restaurant breakfast area. They will Interact professionally effectively and in a friendly manner with all guests. Helps maintain the high quality standards of breakfast. Serves and waits on guests.

Responsibilities
- Provides highest quality service to the guest at all times.
- Responds appropriately to any requests or concerns.
- Follows all safe food handling procedures.
- Knowledgeable of all continental breakfast core items.
- Maintains breakfast area in a clean functional manner.
- Informs management of all guest-related problems and any shortages of core items.
- Knowledgeable of safety and security measures of the hotel.
- Must be able to work early morning shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to pass certification from health department if required.
- Experience: Prior food handling experience preferred.
- Specific job knowledge skills and abilities:
- Communicate effectively with other employees and guests.
- Follow instructions as directed.
- Ability to read write and understand basic English.
- Ability to learn and apply safe food handling practices.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to lift bend crouch/stoop climb stand reach twist and push and pull equipment.
- Must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance.
