Job Summary and Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The incumbent is a member of the health care team who is accountable for operating and processing the autologous transfusion equipment. They set up and operate physiological data recording system and anesthesia equipment. REsponsible for materials management related to cardiac surgery and IABP operations. Demonstrates competency in patient care for adult an geriatric patients.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic cardiac rhythms 12-lead ECG interpretation and cardiac hemodynamic experience is preferred.
- Candidates must have a CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1 year of experience within hospital patient care as a Cardiovascular Technician (1 year exception: when staffing is experienced enough to support a trainee applicants without the requisite experience may be considered).
