Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Mainframe Developer to support a Department of Defense Customers Defense Business System. The main function of a software developer working in an Agile Software Development Lifecycle is the development maintenance and migration of the customers system.
The candidate shall evaluate information systems requirements using Government approved engineering principles for examining the hardware software firmware and human interfaces for DoD and DFAS life cycle management. Support will be focused on the following tasks: program and unit test system modifications participate in all levels of system testing attend analysis and design meetings document system processes and train team on processes and programming techniques.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Must be a US Citizen
- Able to obtain Public Trust
- Verbal and written communication skills problem solving skills customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
