Partner with the best
As a Lead Materials Planner youll be dedicated to ensuring on-time delivery from the launch to the customer. Youll play a key role in our manufacturing plan coordinating and expediting the flow of materials. Planning and scheduling according to production needs youll use in-depth knowledge of concepts methods and procedures.
As a Lead Materials Planner may include the following as well as other items required to execute the role:
Working with the sales and operations team to convert demand plans into physical orders against supply chain tollers. Understands business trends opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.
Being responsible for end-to-end order fulfilment at tollers - new order review & delivery commitment capacity reviews raw material planning creation & execution of production plans production yielding in SAP and final dispatch/delivery of finished products to customers
Leading daily production meeting with tollers and internal stakeholders
Reviewing MRP exception messages and ensures schedule alignment and date SAP
Ensuring inventory accuracy at tolling sites through Annual Physical (API) and Cycle count execution
Implementing inventory stocking strategies and initiatives for consumption of excess and aging materials
Supporting new product introductions through PMR process
Participating in Toller onboarding contract negotiations and vendor mgmt. processes
Being responsible for achieving KPIs in the areas of production order fulfilment materials mgmt. inventory and plant financials
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience (5 years experience)
Have experience in materials & inventory mgmt. production planning & scheduling and procurement operations
Have Technical proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality and Microsoft tools (Excel PowerPoint & SharePoint)
Have ability to work with and influence stakeholders
Have tactical execution with a sense of urgency
Have strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
