Were building a small ambitious team thats shaping what modern social journalism looks like quick-thinking personality-driven and culturally fluent. Our goal is to tell stories that live and breathe where audiences already are: on TikTok Instagram YouTube and beyond.
Your role: Were looking for a Junior Social Video Producer whos curious confident on their phone camera and has their finger firmly on the pulse of whats trending online.
Youll help brainstorm film edit and publish short-form videos that tap into the conversations people are already having from entertainment and lifestyle to news and culture.
This is a hands-on creative role where no two days are the same. You dont need to be an expert editor; you just need a sharp eye strong instincts and a genuine love for storytelling.
Day to day you will:
Pitch and produce short-form video ideas that feel timely relevant and scroll-stopping with our in-house talent.
Film and edit videos using your phone keeping everything fast authentic and platform-ready.
Write simple engaging captions and on-screen headlines that tell the story clearly.
Spot trends sounds and formats that could inspire future videos.
Support journalists with filming interviews and day-to-day content capture.
Publish videos directly to TikTok and Instagram ensuring posts are accurate and on-brand.
Keep an eye on performance and audience feedback to see whats resonating.
Collaborate closely with journalists and producers across the newsroom to shape ideas.
