- $12.00/hour dependent upon experience hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- Up to 19 hours per week hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Literature research
- Bioinformatics analysis of own and published omics datasets
- On-the bench experiments involving DNA and RNA purification and characterization
Minimum Requirements
- Able to dedicate up to 19 hours per week to the lab
- Able to learn bioinformatics or learn advanced molecular biology techniques
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
In compliance with federal law all persons hired will be required to verify identityand eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.This position supports visa sponsorship for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with bench work including micro pipetting and/or mammalian cell culture or bioinformatics/computer programming
