Your Career
As a Principal Engineer on the Data Classification team youll lead the design and development of scalable solutions that help customers understand and protect their data. Youll work across the full product lifecycle- design implementation testing and deploymentwhile collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. Beyond your own contributions youll raise the bar for those around you driving innovation mentoring teammates and pushing for continuous improvement.
Your Impact
- Supercharge data security protection by developing solutions helping clients understand what kind of data they have and where
- Make significant contributions to feature development by engaging in design implementation testing and deployment processes
- Collaborate with other cross functional teams in order to create tight integrations of product features and infrastructure
- Ship innovation for solutions dealing with high scale data and operations
- Serve as a leading individual in a very strong team professionally and personally - Were looking for someone who not only delivers their own work but improves that of those around them
- Generate ideas and actively participate in brainstorming sessions to foster innovation within the product
- Identify areas for improvement within the team and actively push for positive change through new initiatives or optimizations
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- BSc degree in Computer Science and 8 years of work experience or MSc degree in Computer Science with 6 years experience or equivalent military experience
- Strong understanding of Rust & idiomatic concepts
- Python experience in a large-scale cloud environment
- Strong understanding of how applications and OS interact
- Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process development with a focus on performance
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infra - Have the ability to make stuff work on top of writing good code
- Outstanding drive and communication skills
Advantages
- Professional experience with Rust - Big advantage
- Go experience
- Comfortable with Regex & Character encodings
- Experience with applications running remotely at scale
- Familiarity with Cyber Technologies Information Security and Software Security etc
