We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting in the maintenance of IT systems. A strong understanding of Microsoft 365 is considered an asset and will be beneficial in supporting our organizations technology needs.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone email or in-person ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems including desktops laptops printers and mobile devices.
- Assist in the setup configuration and deployment of new equipment and software.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Support users with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook Word Excel and Teams.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure including network and server systems.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on IT systems and best practices.
- Perform regular updates and patches to ensure system security and efficiency.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications :
- A certificate diploma or degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware software and networking.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
