Job Summary
Syngenta Crop Protection is recruiting a summer intern to work in Formulation Development in Greensboro NC.
Program Details
- Duration: 10-12 weeks (May 2026-August 2026)
- Type: Full-time (40 hours/week) on-site position
- Location: Greensboro NC
- Compensation: $21-$40 per hour
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of a Formulation Scientist the intern will plan and conduct laboratory experiments for the development and characterization of chemical formulations for agrochemical and pest control markets. Project work will involve evaluations of formulation shelf-life stability physical and chemical phenomena and biological performance.
- A variety of instrumentation and measurement techniques may be learned and deployed such as Water Activity Particle Sizing Rheology Optical & Electron Microscopy Spectroscopy Porosimetry Thermal Analysis etc.
- The intern will operate in accordance with Syngenta Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited college/university pursuing one of the following B.S. M.S. or Ph.D. degrees:
- Microbiology
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Materials Science
- Chemical Engineering
- Related technical discipline
- Available for full-time work during May 2026-August 2026
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques
- Familiarity with data analysis
