Major Account Manager Public Sector (Central Government & Health)

We are currently seeking a dynamic Major Account Manager to drive strategic growth within central government with a particular focus on the health sector. This role will be instrumental in supporting Fortinets expansion across public healthcare institutions ministries and affiliated agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships within central government and public health institutions
  • Develop and execute account plans focused on enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinets cybersecurity solutions
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders and influencers
  • Coordinate internal teams to deliver winning proposals RFI/RFP responses and statements of work
  • Negotiate business terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships
  • Drive both sell to and sell through opportunities managing the full sales cycle to closure
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting
  • Promote Fortinets value in securing national healthcare infrastructure and sensitive public data

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience selling cybersecurity or networking solutions to public sector clients
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and its regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and closing large deals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strategic mindset with strong account planning and relationship-building capabilities
  • Minimum 10 years in sales including 5 years in cybersecurity
  • Based in France with flexibility to travel as needed
