Over the years Verantis has introduced a wide range of products to the industrial marketplace including tank linings protective coatings reinforced plastic process vessels filamentous tower packing corrosive air handling fans and air pollution control equipment and systems.

The production technician supports daily production in a manufacturing environment. Daily tasks may include material handling shipping receiving working with hand tools processing raw materials including working with thermoplastics. May require data entry and paperwork entry. Other tasks could include assembly of fans and other components or systems.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Maintain and organized work area practice 5 S principles.


Operate monitor and adjust manufacturing equipment and assembly to meet production targets.


Participating in production and productivity meetings.


Set up tools and machines for specific production runs and assembly.


Inspect components and finished product for quality recording measurement and pass/fail criteria.


Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.


Document production data scrap downtime and process deviations.


Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental standards.


Performing other duties and tasks as assigned.


Required Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent.


Preferred experience in manufacturing or production or assembly.


Basic mechanical skills: working with hand tools measurement devices etc.


Familiar with safety protocols and PPE.


ADA Requirements:

Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise machinery moving equipment and other standard industrial conditions and is required to wear to personal protective equipment (PPE).

Physical Demands: Positions in this function typically require standing climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting fingering grasping feeling talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.


Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves close accuracy and visual awareness.


Compliance with company attendance standards.

Incumbents may be subjected to moving tow motors electrical currents glue fumes odors dusts gases poor ventilation chemicals oils extreme temperatures inadequate lighting workspace restrictions
