Job Summary

We are looking for a People & Culture Intern to join our team based in Home Base New York. The People & Culture Intern will assist in all facets of the People & Culture function across the Americas region. 

The internship will begin in February 2026 and conclude in July 2026. The intern is expected to work 40 hours a week in our Brooklyn office. We are seeking 1 intern for this role. Student must secure their own sponsorship for this role if needed.

What youll do...

  • Assist with the recruitment process including job postings resume (CV) screening and shortlisting candidates for the hiring teams.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Assist with People Technology and benefits projects as needed.
  • Maintain and update team members records and HRIS databases.
  • Help create organize and promote team member engagement activities and initiatives. Including local team events community outreach opportunities and company-wide initiatives.
  • Work closely with the VP of People & Culture Americas and varying members of the Americas People & Culture team on special projects and reports.

Qualifications :

What were looking for... 

  • Undergraduate or graduate student working towards a Hospitality degree with a focus on HR or Administration
  • Hospitality experience required
  • You have strong verbal and written skills strong in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
  • You can develop and roll out tools for the team to ensure consistency and achievement of deliverables to all stakeholders.
  • You are a self-starter.
  • You have a can-do attitude. No task is too little or too big.
  • Youre a great communicator with stakeholders across a business at any level.
  • Youre proactive and able to work independently but likes being sociable and collaborative too.
  • You can develop and roll out tools for the team to ensure consistency and achievement of deliverables to all stakeholders.
  • You are humble.  There are no egos and no drama.
  • You get us. You know of our hotels and want to hang out in our lobbies.

The hourly rate for this internship is $20/hour. This internship does not include housing.
