Job Summary

What an Asia Pacific Social Impact & Sustainability Senior Manager does at Visa:

As a key member of Visas Asia Pacific team the SIS Senior Manager Client Solutions Lead will contribute to the development and execution of the regions SIS strategy aligning with Visas 2030 business vision and market-specific priorities. The Senior Manager drives initiatives to leverage social impact and sustainability to deepen client relationships contributing to secure revenue-generating commercial partnership or reputation-enhancing program partnership for key clients in key AP markets. Key responsibilities include:

1. Strategy Execution 

  • Shape and advance the AP social impact & sustainability strategy and roadmap to deliver on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). 
  • Align initiatives with Visas global priorities focusing on: 
  • Empowering small businesses and entrepreneurs through digital tools knowledge access and security
  • Promoting financial education to foster economic inclusion and development
  • Enhancing digital commerce security for all users
  • Demonstrating Visas long-term commitment to the communities we serve 

2. Solution Development & Deployment 

  • Lead internal go-to-market efforts to raise profile of Visa SIS products and identify new opportunities to creatively leverage these products to drive impact and growth in strategic client relationships in AP  
  • Lead regional programmatic and solution deployment with key clients in alignment with market strategies
  • Localization and ongoing development of our client solutions in particular financial education and digital skills platforms 
  • Manage end-to-end program and impact solution delivery with key clients and stakeholders in partnership with other Visa functions 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with country leadership Communications and Government Affairs teams to implement programs. 
  • Develop compelling narratives that articulate Visas purpose and impact in priority markets. 
  • Establish feedback loops to share insights and best practices across regions. 

3. Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Act as team contact to facilitate a coordinated response to key client RFPs utilizing SIS portfolio of solutions and capabilities 
  • Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with key internal stakeholders across the AP region (Sales teams VGS VCA Data Product Acceptance). 
  • Enhance Visas reputation and influence with decision-makers through consistent values-driven engagement. 

4. Measurement & Reporting 

  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of social and business outcomes in alignment with defined OKRs. 
  • Develop and disseminate knowledge products to share and amplify best practices from AP to cross pollinate ideas and programs 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

What you will need:

  • 10 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 7 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree
  • Knowledge and experience in banking industry or of banking clients ideally as an Account Executive
  • Business Development mindset with experience in successfully driving towards deal formulation through identifying opportunities and developing solutions centered around client needs
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and interpreting market research and taking prompt decisive action to drive for success
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and eager to identify opportunities and solve problems.
  • Team-player with a willingness to pitch in on a variety of projects and deliver high quality work.
  • Comfortable and adept at communicating with and influencing executive level resource (e.g. including direct and ongoing interaction with CEO)

What will also help:

  • Good understanding of financial inclusion and sustainability as well as a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and emerging products and solutions
  • Experience in building and managing deal pipelines and sales management for high impact and growth execution
  • Project management skills and tracking experience of complex initiatives that engage with multiple stakeholders at the global regional and local level
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving with ability to collaborate and build consensus across stakeholders.
  • Passion for and ability to create impact
