Job Summary
Role Summary:
The Head of Engineering will lead the detailed design function for water infrastructure projects ensuring high-quality technical delivery client satisfaction and financial performance. This role combines engineering leadership with commercial oversight including responsibility for project P&L invoicing and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee detailed engineering design activities for water and wastewater projects.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Manage project P&L drive profitability and support budget planning and control.
- Oversee project invoicing cycles and ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Act as primary engineering contact for key clients; maintain strong working relationships.
- Support proposal development and resource planning for upcoming opportunities.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams across multiple project locations.
Qualifications :
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Civil Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
- 20 years experience in water infrastructure design.
- Strong commercial awareness; hands-on experience with P&L and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated client management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D BIM etc.) and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong leadership team development and communication skills.
