Radiation Therapist 1.0 FTE Days
Oncology Department
This position has a $7500 sign on bonus for external candidates *based on eligibility requirements*
Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm rotating weekend on call
This position is a MAST Union position

How youll contribute
ARadiation Therapist who excels in this role:
Delivers accurately the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy with minimal supervision.
Creates and executes patient treatment schedules.
Monitors records and communicates patient condition. Fabricates immobilization devices and blocks custom blocks bolus etc.
Observes radiation safety measures for patient and personnel.
Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.
Disassembles cleans and sterilizes equipment and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.
Maintains records of daily treatment and other records as required.
Simulates patients according to Radiation Oncologists instruction.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current state ARRT Certification and an Associates Degree. Additional requirements include:
ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy Registry
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Varian TrueBeam and ARIA experience preferred
