Overview:

In this dynamic role youll work closely in designing the Nacelle Structure driving all design phases from Architecture to Entry into service. Youll play critical role in developing lower-level professionals technically on regular basis proactively resolving field and manufacturing issues Identify the value engineering activities and drive until implementation in product. Stake holder management Implement continuous improvement philosophy on process/product.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages the product design and development projects from Architecture to Detail design phase.
• Typically viewed as Subject matter experts on Product development.
• Oversees comprehensive project requirements ensures team coordination manages risks and maintains reliability for large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong holistically approach in solving manufacturing and field challenges.
• Research evaluates and recommends changes in technology procedures systems to improve the quality of the products and services.
• Drives Process maturity using Continuous Improvement method.
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals
• Engages in technical working groups and initiatives both within the organization and with external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors / masters degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace or automobiles.
• 12 - 16 years of Industry experience in Product development Integration and Research & Technology

Preferred Skills:

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in product development from architecture to detail design phase.
• Technically managed moderate sized projects/Program with complete Lifecyle.
• Hands-on experience in maturing the product with technological improvements.
• Strong in understanding the Technical Customer and Certification requirements.
• Good understanding in Product quality review and approval process.
• Basic understanding on Product Testing requirements.
• Subject Matter expert on GD&T Tolerance Stack up Material Selection.
• Hands-on experience in driving trade studies conclude and implement the change to the product.
• Good Understanding on developing the Thermoset/Thermoplastic layout with Manufacturing knowledge is preferred.
• Strong in preparing the technical concept or business case for product improvement.
• Strong in Manufacturing and process technique to produce optimized methods of metallic components.
• Hands-on experience in CAD Tools (CATIA) and PLM(Teamcenter) and Enovia.
• Good understanding of AI/ML to include in Engineering process methods.
• It will be an added advantage if they have experience on Nacelle product design.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
