This Technical Advisor role offers the chance to combine hands-on technical knowledge with customer service working for a leading manufacturing business in Driffield thats proud of its innovation and quality products.
As part of a friendly and knowledgeable team youll play a key role in providing expert advice troubleshooting technical issues and supporting customers engineers and distributors to keep operations running smoothly.
Some of the Technical Advisor key responsibilities are:
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers engineers and distributors
- Log track and manage cases to ensure quick and effective resolutions
- Review technical drawings to identify parts and resolve queries
- Remotely connect to machines to carry out fault finding and diagnostics
- Collaborate with internal departments to share knowledge and improve processes
- Maintain accurate records of communications and outcomes
- Deliver outstanding customer service through clear and professional communication
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions
Youll be naturally inquisitive with a strong technical mindset and the ability to translate complex information into clear advice.
Ideally youll come from an electrical background; perhaps youve worked in a customer support role within an electrical or engineering environment. You should be comfortable reading electrical drawings and carrying out fault finding though full training will be provided for the right person.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours a week with a competitive salary depending on experience.
