The stunning Diplomat Resort & Spa Hollywood is seeking an organized dynamic Director of Resort Lifestyle Experiences to lead the team. We are looking for someone who is guest and service focused with solid relationship building and problem-solving skills. The Diplomat Resort & Spa Hollywood a Curio Collection by Hilton boasts 1000 rooms and 200000 square feet of space. It is ideally situated on the golden sand beaches of Hollywood Florida this impressive hotel offers the ideal retreat. Every day at our distinctively unique resort is memorable. Whatever your pleasure there is plenty to do at and around our stunning beach resort. A Director of Resort Lifestyle Experiences is responsible for directing and organizing all activities and services related to Recreation services programs and events in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing
As a Director of Resort Lifestyle Experiences you would be responsible for directing and organizing all activities and services related to Recreation services programs and events in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Lead and direct all Recreation operations to include but not limited to guest service food and beverage selection and quality merchandising and marketing inventory management and cost controls outlet reservations systems use and management budget and forecasting report generation department management and meeting participation and facilitation
- Oversee and direct the coordination promotion and facilitation of all activities programs and events for Recreation operations (i.e. tennis tournaments pool and water activities and contests childrens programs etc.)
- Plan organize and execute special events
- Monitor and develop department head and team member performance to include but not limited to providing supervision and professional development scheduling conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
- Develop and implement menus and food and beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the culinary team
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Ensure compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Recruit interview and train team members
