LPN Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of RNs and facility leadership
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor resident health observe changes and report to appropriate staff
- Document care accurately in accordance with facility guidelines
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident care
- Promote a safe clean and supportive environment for residents and staff
- Participate in care planning shift reports and staff meetings
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies and state regulations
- Uphold a professional and compassionate approach to resident care
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a long-term care assisted living or skilled nursing setting
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
- CPR certification preferred
