Role Description / Key Responsibilities
This role will optimize project and portfolio performance by driving consistency efficiency and integration across planning controls and reporting functions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery ensuring project data and reporting are aligned with business needs systems are optimized and teams are supported in delivering successful outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Standardize project intake assessment and setup processes.
- Monitor planning horizons and project start readiness.
- Facilitate integration between controls disciplines to improve collaboration alignment communication and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to project planning defining controls management plans appropriate to project size complexity and risk.
- Be a conduit for communication to flow between the project teams functional controls leads and program management.
- Analyze project performance (critical path forecasts milestones resourcing) and provide insights to program management.
- Drive alignment between departmental and corporate reporting.
Skills/Previous Experience
- Strong background in project controls (estimating scheduling cost management).
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and foster cross-functional collaboration and trust.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills with ability to escalate and resolve critical issues.
- Experience in portfolio governance project prioritization and performance management.
