Job Summary

New Hope Group (NHG)is a proudly Australian owned and operated diversified energy company based in Southeast Queensland for more than 60 years. While our core focus is on coal we also have interests in agriculture oil and port operations.

We are seeking a skilledIT/OT Security Analystto join our Technology team. You will play a crucial operational role in ensuring a secure digital environment across IT (Information Technology) systems and OT (Operational technology). You will be required to work collaboratively across technology engineering and operations teams to identify risks implement controls and respond to threats in real-time supporting safe and uninterrupted production.

Based in our corporate office in Brisbane you will have the opportunity to travel to our various operations and work closely with the existing members of the Technology team.

You will do:

Oversee system availability performance and documentation across operational technology environments.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Investigate document respond to and report on cybersecurity issues vulnerabilities and emerging trends
Support secure architecture design and IT/OT Technology strategy.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to secure critical mining systems.
Deliver tailored cybersecurity training and awareness programs for operational staff.
Identify and implement new security technology to meet business requirements and protect company assets.
Travel to various sites to provide support and ensure consistent system performance.

You will bring:

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Engineering or related field.
5 years of experience in cybersecurity with exposure to mining or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of mining technologies such as SCADA Fleet Management and Environmental Monitoring.
Experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks.

Drivers licence and ability to travel.
