Groundskeeper

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper/Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the exterior areas of our office building. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping spaces clean safe and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and dispose of trash and debris from outdoor areas including parking lots sidewalks and landscaped areas.
• Empty exterior trash bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Mow lawns trim bushes and maintain landscaping as needed.
• Operate power washers to clean sidewalks building exteriors and other surfaces.
• Sweep and maintain cleanliness of walkways entrances and loading areas.
• Assist with snow/ice removal (if applicable).
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Support occasional setup or cleanup for outdoor events or deliveries.

Qualifications:

• No formal education or certifications required.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping janitorial or maintenance work is a plus.
• Ability to operate basic landscaping and cleaning equipment (e.g. lawnmower leaf blower power washer).
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work environment with exposure to weather elements.
• Physical role involving walking lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
