Job Summary
Be part of a team that is defining Resideos products. You will leverage your CAD experience and skills in the investigation and solution of challenging technical problems. You will use your creativity to design new and modify existing products parts or processes while applying established standards guidelines and specifications. By collaborating with others on the engineering teams you will engage in the design review and optimization process to ensure the quality of the engineering drawings and models working together to deliver against overall project timelines. Use your engineering and CAD skills to create new product designs or to optimize existing designs. Leverage established processes and standards to ensure exceptional product design quality. Work collaboratively with broader engineering teams to capture product and part requirements in sold models and drawings.
JOB DUTIES:
- Design parts assemblies and test fixtures using Creo CAD software.
- Create detailed part and assembly prints using Creo.
- Create and assemble prototype parts for analysis and test.
- Write engineering change documentation.
- Work in cross functional international development teams.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 4 years experience designing various types of parts and assemblies.
- Experience and proficiency with Creo or Solid Works.
- Experience working in product data management systems to release documentation.
- Proficiency using MS Office applications; Outlook Teams Excel Word.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes; molding machining stamping.
- Collaboration with other engineers and professionals in an interactive team-based setting.
- Hand-on experience in lab setting testing prototypes.
- Experience with HVAC or residential appliances.
- Application of engineering techniques to optimize product and part designs
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity
- Capability to clearly and concisely communicate with partners
- Ability to focus on important information and identify key details
