FUNCTION:

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Howard University Center of Excellence Project (HU-CoE))

SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY:

No responsibility to supervise others.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

Internal contacts include faculty and staff of the University.

Minimal interaction with external partners.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Will coordinate administrative activities for the successful implementation of the project
  • Support the coordination of administrative activities for the successful implementation of the project
  • Coordinate distance-based technology for the project office
  • Assist with scheduling meetings develop agendas edit documents and prepare minutes
  • monitor the projects website
  • create develop and maintain listserv.
  • Support marketing functions of the projects partners
  • Assist with monitoring and conduct weekly CQI of the projects website
  • Assist with research data collection and maintenance of projects data base
  • Manage reports and records of the project
  • Report updates verbally and in written form to management
  • Additional tasks as assigned as warranted

  • Ability to multitask with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to efficiently utilize social media applications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Associate or Bachelors degree in a relevant field which may include public health education business IT. Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
