Job Summary
Job Description:The Clinician performs a variety of routine activities to provide psychoeducational care to clients receiving treatment. This treatment includes various behavioral issues such as substance abuse post-traumatic stress disorder post-incarceration syndrome and co-occurring behavioral health needs.
Position Summary:
The Clinician works collaboratively with all members of the treatment team including the client and family in conjunction with the therapist/behavioral health professional and other treatment team members. The level of care for the program is Intensive Outpatient Services with specific curriculum and program design.
QualificationsandRequirements
Meets the requirements of a Behavioral Health Technician
Peer Support Specialist Certification
Minimun of 2 year experience.
Must be 21 years or older.
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor or masters degree in psychology or relevant area of study preferred
CPR/FA certification required
Crisis de-escalation certification (i.e. Safety Care CPI etc.) required
Valid AZ drivers license
Fingerprint Clearance Card
2 Step Tuberculosis Screen and Risk Assesment
PhysicalAttestation / Physician completedPhysical
Intermediate computer skills MS Office (Excel Word Outlook Teams) Internet Electronic Health Record etc).
Experience with KIPU (Client Data Base) or similar Electronic Health Record systems required
Excellent communication organizational time management and critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
