Job Summary

POSITION DESCRIPTION:Southeastern Technical Institute is a hiring part-time instructor for the evening Medical Assisting program. This 999-hour program includes classroom lab and clinical hours.

Program Schedule:

Wednesdays 9AM-2:30Pm and Fridays 11AM-3PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Possession of a current national certification as a medical assistant or medical assistant/secretary.
Four (4) years within the last seven years of full-time employment directly related to medical assisting; and
Associate degree or higher related to the subject matter and skills to be taught with at least 18 credit hours directly related to medical assisting
Teaching experience preferred.

Candidates with a Chapter 74 teaching license in Medical Assisting and a current certification as a medical assistant or medical assistant/secretary preferred.
