Position Title: MRI Technologist

Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Days (8*5)
Duration: 13Week Assignment

Hourly Pay: $60 to $62
Weekly Pay: $2250 to $2325

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingMRI Technologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job inNew York NY.

Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment (GE scanner experience required) to perform imaging procedures.
Properly position patients and coils to achieve optimal image quality.
Educate patients about MRI procedures including preparation and safety.
Review MRI safety questionnaires and ensure adherence to all MRI safety protocols.
Label and evaluate images for clarity accuracy and technical acceptability.
Transmit images to PACS and complete entries in IDX/Radiology Information System.
Maintain cleanliness of MRI room and equipment before and after shifts.
Maintain supplies and monitor equipment for repairs or safety issues.
Assist physicians as needed and perform basic clerical duties in absence of support staff.
Attend mandatory in-services and stay compliant with infection control and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years MRI experience (REQUIRED).
Must have hands-on experience with GE MRI scanners.
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved Radiologic Technology program.
NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
ARRT (MRI) certification
BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
