Job Summary
Savan is seeking a motivated and fast-learning Java Developer with strong front-end skills who is eager to grow into a Hyland Nuxeo Developer role. This position is ideal for a developer with a solid background in Java web application development REST APIs user interface technologies and modern Agile practices who is ready to apply these skills to enterprise content management (ECM) solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based web applications with a focus on scalable maintainable code.
- Build and enhance user interfaces using HTML CSS JavaScript and modern frameworks.
- Consume and extend REST APIs to support application integration and new feature development.
- Apply security concepts including authentication authorization and role-based access when building applications.
- Collaborate with senior developers to learn and apply Nuxeo development practices including configuration customization and API integration.
- Support the design and implementation of content management features workflows and document services.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
- Learn and apply Nuxeo Studio Nuxeo APIs and related tools under mentorship and training.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve application issues contributing to continuous improvement.
- Document code processes and technical solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
- At least 6 years of professional experience with 4 years in Java web application development.
- Strong front-end development experience with HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React Angular or Vue (transitional to Nuxeos Polymer-based Web UI).
- Hands-on experience consuming and extending REST APIs.
- Experience applying Agile development practices in team environments.
- Proficiency with Git including branching merging and version control best practices.
- Experience with containerized development (Docker or Kubernetes).
- Understanding of application security principles including identity management and role-based access controls.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Familiarity with enterprise software concepts (e.g. workflows content lifecycle automation).
- Interest in and aptitude for learning Nuxeo or other ECM platforms.
