Job Summary
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Engraving Operator to join our team at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Groundskeepers at NorthStar find solace and inspiration in the sacred duty of maintaining our grounds with meticulous attention to detail and tradition ensuring that every familys unique experience and emotion is honored. Responsibilities
- Assist with picking up and installing granite memorials on the ground and in the mausoleum areas with the use of heavy equipment (tractor backhoe JD Gator mausoleum lift)
- Assist with memorial related service requests.
- Prepare granite before and after the sandblasting process
- Clean surfaces
- Inspect granite for defects
- Apply and remove stencils
- Apply and remove lithochromatic
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift more than 50 LBS
- 1-2 years of experience sandblasting and/or working with granite a plus but will train
Compensation
- $18.00-$20.00/hr.
